“The house was fantastic! Such a breath taking view. We had 10 ppl and one dog and everyone was more than comfortable. The only downside is there is no sound barrier from the main road traffic so that was a little loud. We did have a visit from some Bears so make sure to keep your cars locked and super clean. We loved the privacy of our own pier and took many walks along the lake. Was the perfect size for our group ”

“Gary’s property was perfect for our family of 3 humans and 2 little dogs. Seemed very safe around, just be on the lookout for bears (like anywhere in Lake Tahoe) though we didn’t encounter any! The chalet itself was super cozy, comfortable and Gary was very communicative if we needed anything. Definitely recommend for a nice, cozy, clean, comfortable stay. My 6 year old daughter especially loved it!”

“The Sunset Getaway gets everything right! The cabin is very cozy and the furniture and beds are so comfortable. The communication was excellent and check-in was a breeze. We walked in to a lovely fire going in the fireplace and everything was immaculate. The kitchen is well stocked. We loved the television set up...just hook up your computer and you are good to go. This is perhaps the best run property that I have ever stayed. We loved our time here. ”

“Had a wonderful week here enjoying Yosemite Notational Park! My family of 4 flew from Ohio to enjoy spring break and were extremely comfortable and happy with chalet. One of the best stocked and organized kitchens you will ever find in a rental! Everything you needed to know was clearly labeled and explained in the binder. Would absolutely rent again! ”
